Your challenge as Project Safety Assurance Manager

This dynamic position within our organization has everything to do with the delivery of essential products for our projects in terms of system safety. Our systems need to be safe working as a nuclear power plant. You assist in planning and coordinating these activities from tender to the post-commissioning of train and infrastructure projects. Your duties initially range from writing "safety validation" documents to advising projects on all aspects of safety design. In this role you will communicate with numerous internal and external parties at all levels in the organization, therefore you will need good communication skills.
You will work on multiple projects which have different duration time to complete, depending on the type of project.
You will report to the Safety Manager Benelux and the Manager Engineering. You will manage 1 junior colleague who you will help to develop into a safety professional.

Some tasks and responsibilities

Writing of and making the assesment of safety validation plans
Demonstrate by modelling and analysis the customer safety requirements set
Prepare and produce Project Safety Reports and conducts audits to support project releases
Prepare and review safety documentation prior to external audits
Monitor hazards and advise on acceptance of safety requirements
