Your challenge as European Account Manager protein based food
You will be responsible for the international sales within our plant-based team by maintaining and expanding your customer portfolio / accounts. You will collaborate intensively with our other business units to make sure orders and project are handled optimally and correct.
You will perform market research, gather and interpret information which you will apply for your sales activities. You will work closely with the sales team from the customers who we represent (e.g. Beyond Meat and Good Catch) to expand the distribution of the products in the market.
As the plant-based ambassador on behalf of our company and our plant-based brands you will internationally visit food fairs and visit your customers regularly.

- After sales support (incl. klachtenafhandeling).
Your colleagues
You will be part of the planned based international sales team containing 8 colleagues with diverse backgrounds; about 20% non-Dutch. We work intensively together where we help each other and share information regarding market developments and current pricings. You will report to the Commercial Director and the companies whose brands we represent. We work hard, but there’s also plenty of room for fun and team gatherings.
You will be successful when you get foot on the ground within Europe by increasing brand awareness and market share for our plant-based products.

We have several new products and projects since as we are innovators, combined with being an experienced company that has a solid customers base. Furthermore, we have sort of a “Start-Up” company called The New Plant who is producing products for Beyond Meat. You will be the first dedicated employee for Good Catch and the main driver for growth.

Even though the average age is underneath the 40 years old, 45 of our 125 employees have been working at Zandbergen for more than 12.5 years.

It is possible to work 32, 36 of 40 hours per week. Finally, once a month you will receive a gift package that contains some of our products.
The ideal Account Manager / Sales Manager
We are open minded when it comes to your education and/or experience since your personality, motivation and skills are what will make you successful. As a person, you are driven, goal orientated and, of course, have commercial skills. You are willing to travel within Europe to visit customers and fairs. So you can apply if you have relevant sales experience, have food background and/of if you’re a starter / junior graduated from university.
